The Leadership Putnam Governor’s Cup Bass Tournament will be held on Saturday, March 29 and we need your support. We are looking for door prizes and locations to hang tournament posters. If you would like to donate two matching door prizes for our fishing teams or have a place to display a poster, please let me know. |

The class of 2008 is off to a great start this year and the class of 2008 thinks that they too are the best class ever! In addition to their program days, they meet regularly for lunch, have dinner together after each program day, and have already had their own LP Christmas party… so I would like to applaud their enthusiasm! We would like to thank our speakers, and planning committees for our first two program days as both have been very successful. I look for a lot of great work to come from this year’s group projects and know all 19 will be very committed alumni after graduation. We had another busy agenda on Education Day with stops at Cookeville High School, Algood Elementary, Burks Middle and Monterey High School, and Dry Valley Alternative. We ate lunch with the children at Capshaw Elementary, visited the TN World Affairs Council where we learned about their education programs for students and had speakers from Nashville State and the Adult High School. We ended the day with Pres. Bell at TTU and we would like to thank our alumni speakers that joined us there as well as Chartwell’s for our snack. We had a great day and the class is anxiously awaiting our Healthcare program this Thursday. |
